Hisar

Hisar is situated in central Bulgaria, in the South side of Sredna Gora Mountain. The town is surrounded by parks and gardens; without industrial enterprises, Hisar is perfect place for vacation. During different seasons, Hisar sink in the aroma of lime-tree, lilac and roses. Hisar has 22 mineral springs, 16 of it are natural and 6 – deeply sounded, and temperature is from 37 º C to 51 º C. Oak forests (durmast and frainetto oak) dominates. In higher lands wood area consist of beech-tree, black pine-tree and white pine-tree, Atlas cedar. The region is rich in medicinal herbs and mushrooms. This town is endowed by God and today is famous for its curative mineral water called Water for Emperors.
